I am a computational linguist working on a project related to NLP and machine translation.
I am particularly interested in custom logits processors and constrained decoding. After extensive testing, I have found Guidance’s strategies to be the most effective. However, I have been unable to find a formal publication or research paper introducing Guidance, and it appears to be relatively unknown in mainstream discussions.
I would like to learn more about the project, particularly its initial development. If you are associated with the developers and able to share documentation on its methodology and origins, I would greatly appreciate it. I am not highly proficient in understanding source code directly, so any explanatory materials would be especially helpful.
