Manual Installation (Unpacked Extension)
To install the extension manually, follow these steps:
- Clone the repository or download the ZIP file of the code.
- If you downloaded a ZIP, unzip the file to a directory on your computer.
- Open the Chrome browser and navigate to
chrome://extensions/. - Enable "Developer mode" by toggling the switch in the top right corner.
- Click the "Load unpacked" button and select the directory where your extension files are located.
- The extension should now be installed and will appear in your list of extensions.
Usage
After installation, the extension will automatically remove any Shorts from your YouTube interface. No further action is required.
