Wikipedia-Donation-Destroyer
This is a simple Google Chrome Extension which does 3 simple things:
- Blocks the Wikipedia "Donate or Wikipedia will die in 3 minutes!" popups.
- Displays the true financials of Wikipedia in a small, closable box.
- Provides a "See if this page is available on Grokipedia" link.
The Wikipedia Donation Destroyer will also display financial data for other Tech Foundations if you are on their websites.
Just for good measure.
Tech Foundations currently included: Mozilla, Python Software Foundation, Linux Foundation, Internet Archive, & Tor Project.
The code is simple. No data is collected. No trackers or advertisements.

How to Install in Chrome
Step 1) Download the extension from the releases page and extract the archive somewhere (or download the individual source files from the repository).
Step 2) Within Chrome, enter the url: chrome://extensions/ and enable "Developer mode".
Step 3) Click "Load unpacked" and select the folder you extracted the extension to.
Boom! Done! If you don't like the extension, you can remove or disable it from chrome://extensions/.
How to Install in Firefox
Follow the instructions for installing within Chrome, except navigate to "about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox" and click "Load Temporary Add-on...".
