Garden Letters — Write a Letter That Blooms

· Garden Letters

7 min read Original article ↗

A letter-writing studio

Your words on floral paper, sealed in an envelope, opened like a gift — with music, if you like.

For the moments

When a text message feels too small

Some things deserve more than a chat bubble. Pick the moment, write honestly, and let the garden dress it.

Love

Confessions & love letters

Say the thing you've been carrying, in words that look the way they feel.

Memory

Anniversaries & distance

Mark the day with something they can open again next year.

Repair

Apologies

Some apologies need a softer envelope.

Family

Gratitude

Thank-yous for parents and family, written to be kept.

Friendship

Encouragement

Send support that arrives like a small ceremony.

Keepsake

Private letters

Keep it in your garden, or share it with exactly one person.

Words, flowers, music

One message, composed like a keepsake

A letter here is more than text: your note, a floral card, a painted background, and a melody if you want one.

01

Start with your own voice

Write plainly. The words are yours.

02

Dress the letter

Choose a card, flowers, and a typeface that feel like you.

03

Paint a background

Generate a watercolor scene from the mood of your words.

04

Add a melody

Pick a gentle preset track to play when the letter opens.

Dear For you,

Garden Letters

Your words stay in the center. Everything else just frames them.

Hello, good evening! You came to me just to get your umbrella. Something so ordinary. Something so simple. But then you looked at me and said, “tara, ikot muna tayo?” while smiling from ear to ear, and suddenly, the night had somewhere else to go. Kaya sumakay na lang din ako sa likod ng motor, and for a moment, it felt like we were escaping from everything waiting for us at home. Walang plano. Walang destination. Just you and me, the quiet road and a few more minutes that we weren't supposed to have. The streetlights passed us one by one. The familiar roads slowly disappeared behind us. The city became nothing more than little pieces of light in the distance. The way you drove. The way the wind moved around us. The occasional silence between us. And that strange feeling of knowing that I was exactly where I wanted to be. Hindi naman kailangan na may puntahan tayo, I think we both just wanted a reason to stay together a little longer. Maybe that's why I didn't ask when we'd go home. Maybe that's why you didn't tell me. Because deep down, pareho nating alam na the moment we stop, the night ends. And neither of us wanted it to. So we kept riding. One road became another. One streetlight became another. One minute became another.

Heyyaa Reshmiiii 🐢 I know I’m extremely late… but let’s just call this a delayed special edition birthday wish. 😌 No movie scenes, no extra drama — just one genuine truth: you’re honestly one of my favourite plot twists I never knew I needed. And if happiness had a username, I’m pretty sure it’d be yours. 🫠🫶 Stay the way you are. The world already has enough ordinary people, and then there’s youhh — pretty, crazy, slightly annoying 😂 and somehow carrying your own little bit of magic. 🪄❤️ Belated Happy Birthday, Reshmi! 🥹🫶 Keep shining, keep being your crazy self, and keep making everything a little more fun. ❤️ And yes… have an as amazinggg day as me 😁🙆🏻‍♂️

The details

Why a letter, not a message

Because the way words arrive changes how they land.

  1. 01

    Your own words

Write it yourself. It stays your voice.

  2. 02

    Floral design

Cards, fonts, and pressed flowers, arranged with restraint.

  3. 03

    Painted backgrounds

Watercolor scenes generated from your letter's mood.

  4. 04

    The sealed opening

A wax-sealed envelope your recipient opens first.

  5. 05

    A quiet melody

Music that plays as they read, if you choose it.

  6. 06

    Private by default

Public only if you say so. Private letters carry a code.

The process

How it works

Four steps from a blank page to a sealed envelope.

1

Write

Names and the message. Messy is fine — honest matters.

2

Design

Card, flowers, font, background. You see it live as you choose.

3

Music

Optional. A gentle preset track, free.

4

Seal & send

Publish publicly for free, or unlock this letter for $4.99 for private sharing and AI backgrounds.

For the person who opens it

The opening is part of the gift

A sealed envelope first. Then the words, the flowers, the music.

01

A sealed envelope arrives

They tap the wax seal to open it.

02

The design unfolds

Card, flowers, and background rise with the words.

03

Music lingers

A melody can play quietly as they read.

Clear costs, quiet privacy

The practical details, in plain sight

Public letters are free. A paid letter adds private sharing and AI backgrounds, with long-term storage included in both.

Free public letters, paid private sharing

  • Publish public letters for free with all designs, preset backgrounds and music.
  • $4.99 USD per letter for public or private sharing, including five AI backgrounds.
  • Free public letters and earned free-letter rewards do not include AI backgrounds.

Privacy

  • Private letters never appear in the public garden.
  • A share code keeps a letter between two people.

Questions

Asked, answered

The practical details.

What is Garden Letters?

A small studio for writing letters that look and feel like gifts — floral cards, painted backgrounds, sealed envelopes, optional music.

Can I write a letter for free?

Yes. Compose, preview and publish a public letter for free with all designs, preset backgrounds and music. Pay $4.99 for private sharing and five AI backgrounds, or use an earned free-letter reward for private sharing without AI backgrounds.

How do AI backgrounds work?

Paid letters and eligible purchased-credit redemptions include five successful generations. Free public letters and earned rewards do not include AI backgrounds. Failures do not count, editing does not reset the allowance, and existing images remain usable after it runs out.

Can I add music?

Yes — pick a free preset melody to play when the letter opens.

Will my letter stay private?

Private letters never appear publicly and can be protected with a share code.

Can the recipient keep it?

They can download the letter as an image, with the design intact.
