Compensation

$170,000 salary (CAD) + Profit-share quarterly bonus (last year averaged ~30k-40k each)

+ 1% equity + Unlimited holiday + Health benefits

About the role

We’re looking for someone with a high degree of agency, who can immediately take ownership of building new functionality from design > implementation > maintaining and refining current features based on our customers' needs.

You’ll be building end-to-end, including: - Frontend UI/UX design alongside a designer. - Backend API/data structure design. - Data migration and infrastructure changes. - Bug fixing and iterations.

We build using TypeScript, Node.js, Vue.js, Pixi.js, Tailwind CSS, Cloud Run, WebSockets and Firestore.

We're looking for an expert frontend engineer with excellent UI/UX design skills paired with competent backend abilities.

- You've built complex web/mobile apps with slick design that you're proud of. - Passion and determination to craft exceptional experiences for our customers. - Interest in UX, product, marketing and customer support/success. - Attention to detail for crafting something that looks and feels amazing. - Humble attitude to feedback, openness to try new things and not afraid to fail. - Independence and scrappy approach to moving fast while working in a complex codebase. - Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
