American digital content creator and podcaster
Stephen Jody Works (born February 22, 1996) is an American digital content creator and podcaster, known online as SpringSims. He is primarily known for producing content centered on The Sims video game franchise and for hosting the interview podcast Hello Spring.[1]
Works was born in Alexandria, Virginia, on February 22, 1996.[2] He attended Southwestern Illinois College before transferring to Webster University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Interactive Digital Media in 2020.[3]
Works began uploading videos online in 2011 and later adopted the name SpringSims. His work focuses on gameplay, building, and narrative content related to The Sims series. He publishes content across platforms including YouTube and Twitch.[1]
Works is the host of Hello Spring, a podcast featuring interviews with digital creators and discussions on online media, gaming culture, and the creator economy. The podcast has been distributed on major podcast platforms since 2020.[4]

In 2021, Works appeared as a contestant on The Sims Spark’d, a competitive reality television series produced by Electronic Arts and broadcast on TBS.[5]
Works has appeared as a panelist and speaker at gaming and digital media conventions, including TwitchCon events in Las Vegas and San Diego, where he discussed online communities and gaming culture.[6]
Works has participated in livestream-based charity fundraising campaigns benefiting organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Hope for Haiti, and The Trevor Project.[1]
