I live in a place where the weather changes in minutes. Like many of you, I've had to sprint outside to save a load of fresh laundry from a sudden downpour more times than I care to admit.
Standard weather apps are great for knowing if you need an umbrella, but they're terrible at predicting if your jeans will actually dry by 5 PM.
I built DryCast to solve my own problem. I wanted an app that understood drying conditions, not just weather. After weeks of testing algorithms and atmospheric data, I'm excited to share it with the Hacker News community.
