Effective 03/03/2026 NPPES will no longer support Version 1 of the Monthly and Weekly Downloadable File. Version 2 includes all updated field lengths with extended character limits for First Name and Legal Business Name fields. We strongly recommend using Version (V.2) moving forward as this will have the most correct provider data available due to the expanded record lengths.
