What "Windows authentication" are you referring to? What it is that you are trying to connect to, and how?

My mistake in my moment of panic I was not specific enough.
Using IIS we have a portal website for Customers and sales representatives that uses windows authentication. At this moment Safari will not authentice for websites that use Windows authentication (NTLM).
Here is a nice site where you can test this:
http://dave.brittens.org/NTLMTest use username Test and password Test.

Seemed to work OK for me on my 3rd-gen iPad with iOS 7. I got the "Windows authentication!" and "some nice images" page, though no images.

Thats the problem and I bet the webpage is still "loading"
Log onto it from a PC or mac to see what it is supposed to look like. Aslo if you go home and again go to browser it will prompt you to log in agian. Then 1 image will load. Keep doing that 10 times and all 10 images will load.

OK, I can confirm what you report. I don't have an iOS 6 device to test whether this is a new issue in iOS 7 or a lingering problem Safari in iOS.
Regards.

I am having this same problem also.
On a Windows server running IIS, a web site can be set up for Windows Authentication.
On sites where we use Windows Authentication (which includes intranet web apps and SharePoint), it accepts the login but the page never loads. The spinner at the top continually spins, and nothing ever displays in the Safari window.
When using Chrome on the same device, it works.
And this worked with Safari on iOS 6, just prior to upgrading the device. Safari on iOS 7 breaks it big time.
BTW, this was on my iPhone 4S 32GB.

This isn't the place to contact apple. It's user to user. We are here to discuss work-arounds.
Here is the place:

I know this isn't the place to contact Apple. With that said, I can verify that we are also having this issue, FWIW.

I contacted apple support using the provided feedback link by rccharles. I suggest you all do the same to get their attention.
There are countless posts on this all over but still.

Yeah, Chrome works, but not from URLs inside emails.
We have a workflow system that sends out URLs that refer to internal sites, and they automatically open in Safari... because closed Apple won't let us select our default web browser...

We are having the same issue here. We have a web application that was developed in house that is hosted by IIS 7 and uses windows authenticaiton. The site works fine on IOS 6 but in IOS 7 the site prompts for credentials twice and just hangs and acts like it is loading but it never gets anywhere. The site works fine in Chrome but not in Safari.
