All of a sudden now the Macbook pro (Big Sur 11.4) is not charging anymore when connected to the power plug.

I have disabled the "Optimized battery" but it's not charging. it's been a few days now. I need to use the battery. It supposed to have an option "Charge to full now" in the menu bar but it's now showing.

  • I've already checked updates.
  • I've already tried with other power plugs.

PS: This Artificial Intelligence thing is ruining the world.

I have done it many times. It's been a few days that I am restarting, discharge to zero etc..

I should have the option "charge to full now" in the top menu. Like in the article you've linked.

Running MBA M1 and 11.3.1 not yet to 11.4. In your last posting picture. " On Hold " when that appears on mine - Click the On Hold or Battery and Over-ride the Hold to continue charger. If it works, it may Pause again with same On Hold at 90% - - same action to over-ride to 100%
