Fiverr is Busted, Maybe It Needs More AI

The Fiverr CEO recently made a hilarious statement regarding how AI is COMING FOR ALL OF US LOL. Here's what he said:

So the AI doom and gloom train continues. But one need to look no further than Fiverr itself to realize what a crock of baloney this is. I'm currently dealing with what I believe is some kind of scammer who says I need to pay for extra. First, the seller sent me a request to modify the order, which I promptly accepted.

Upon accepting that, my order total did not update. So I opened a request with Fiverr customer support. They were of no use and basically said I need to purchase gig extras, so I did that, despite having to pay even more fees. After doing so, the seller kept requesting for more money, and so that's where I figured it's a scam. No problem right? I can first go ask the seller to cancel the order, right?... Right? No. Wrong. That part of the system doesn't work. So I tried 3 different browsers (Firefox, Chrome and Safari) with all ad blockers disabled.

Also, the seller kept requesting more money, so I figured I'd report some abuse. That's reasonable right? WRONG. THAT DOESN'T WORK EITHER.

At this point I'll just wait for the order time to pass and then hope I can cancel it that way. But the point of all this is that someone needs to either tell the Fiverr CEO to vibe code harder or maybe scale back his AI doomsday rhetoric, at least until his own damn site works. What a joke.
