“The Silence” by Manchester Orchestra is a masterpiece.

Twenty hours out of Homestake eternity
"You can go anywhere, but you are where you came from"
Little girl, you are cursed by my ancestry
There is nothing but darkness and agony
I can not only see, but you stopped me from blinking
Let me watch you as close as a memory
Let me hold you above all the misery

And that dark sound too...

An Urugayo Murga as textbook as it comes. Murga is a traditional form of theatre that I do not know much about other than the musical structure. a choir of vocalists and a band of percussionists.

Aside from that, the lyrics are actually much more positive than the melody portrays. A concept I think hits Uruguay hammer on nail. Every Urugayo I've met have been the nicest and most selfless people I've met. Down to earth to the core, People people. They love to connect with people like this band show in...

Question for the @genghis_khan himself. I really REALLY like the CRT font in the custom themes section, but I can't find it for using on my own computer. What's its real name and where I can download?

Also, I would like to use my own fonts for making themes for chooms. Is that possible, I have to upload them somewhere?

Leaving the question in the feed in case someone is interested too.

Listening to Nirvana's MTV unplugged set right now.

The polite sycophantic chuckles from the punters at every fuckin thing he says (incoherent mumbling included)... Goddamn, making me wanna shoot myself.

Okay so the 1975 one was weird enough, but last night I watched the 1995 one and hoo boy. That shit was freaky-deaky, and that is a technical term.

Can't recommend either movie as art, but they're both pretty interesting snapshots of their times. One meets a viewer with 70s hippie crap, and it's fascinating how many scenes would be written completely differently in a post-stranger danger world. The 90s remake is notable for adding so many 90s-isms (everything from indigo child-coded woo to a mystical...

I'm very excited about day 9 and 10. I already have them prepared.
the only hints I'm giving you is that 9 will be my favorite Latin American Country, and 10 will be a cute little visit to West Africa.

If you can guess the countries, I'll give you... Idk what i'll give you, probably nothing. I'm poor. :P

There, I said it.

I first finished this beautiful piece about a year ago, and re-watched the finale tonight, and even though I know how it’ll end, it has not lost any magic whatsoever.

It’s a show that I went into expecting a good laugh, and I got that but by the second-last episode I was crying. Ever single scene is dripping in emotion and intention, and no joke ever misses it’s mark.

It’s a beautiful show, perhaps mainly because it dosent really fit in a box, it’s a Brit comedy, it’s a coming of age...

I think we're on number 8???

Figured I'd visit a region, musically, that I found Incredibly Interesting.
Epirus is what connects Greece to the Balkans. It used to be much larger in the ancient times, but thanks to Slavs and Turks, It's split itself into many different countries with their own languages. But due to a few balkan wars in the Byzantine Era, a fraction of Epirus was returned to it's (debateably) rightful owner, Greece. (Try me bitch.)

Despite the geography, and history, Epirus, in...

So I just checked my Reddit account. The bots are going through every comment I've ever made and downvoting them in the hundreds. The AI bots are ganging up on me. Just like they did on Fuckbook, Mastocrap, Shitter, and Bloobysky.

Enjoy your ongoing modern capitalist society. Slaves.

I was going to go on there when my account is unbanned to delete my profil,e but I think I'll leave it up forever as a bot magnet.

Of course I pronounce it "oo is for oona..." It's either that or "you is for yuna..."
