Quickly identify a component:

  By looks: Click the "Quick-pick" tab at the top left. Scroll through the pictures. Click on the one that looks like yours.

  By type: Click on an appropriate item on the "Select the class" on the left. Continue selecting items until you reach the correct class of components.

  By basic characteristics: Turn on the "Basic" filter switch, above. Select the pictures that apply to your connector.

  By full characteristics: Turn on the "Full" filter switch, above. Select the attributes that apply to your connector.

  In any case: Check the "Components" list at right. Click the component in the list that matches yours. An explanation appears at the right as you hover over a picture.

When done, select one of the classes (at left) or scroll through the component list (at right).
