Built for music practice

Turn YouTube videos into focused practice setlists.

ClipTunes lets you save the exact parts you need, skip the rest, add practice gaps, and play everything back-to-back.

Built for musicians practicing with YouTube. Useful for dance, workouts, lessons, study, and any routine where the good part is buried in a long video.

Before & after

From full videos to only the parts you need

Before

4 full YouTube videos

37 minutes

Lots of scrubbing, intros, outros, and repeated setup.

After

4 saved clips

11 focused minutes

Exact sections, ordered your way, with optional practice gaps.

ClipTunes does not replace YouTube. It gives you a cleaner way to rehearse the specific parts you already keep replaying.

How a clip gets made

Set the exact start and stop

Scrub to the moment, mark the in- and out-point to the tenth of a second, and add a note. Every clip plays only the part you kept.

  1. 1

    Scrub to the moment

Drag the timeline or nudge by ±0.1s until you’re exactly where the good part begins.

  2. 2

    Mark in & out

Press I to set the start, O to set the stop — right where the video’s paused, like a video editor.

  3. 3

    Annotate & save

Add a note (tuning, capo, key, count-in) and a gap before the next clip. The segment is locked in.

Practice first

Skip to the parts worth practicing.

Mark the intro, trim the ending, loop the tricky section, and move through your set without hunting through full videos.

Music practice setlists

Build the night’s setlist, loop the solo, and run the session song by song.

Dance & choreography

Loop the eight-count that matters until your feet know it by heart.

Workout follow-alongs

String segments into one session and skip the chatter between sets.

Study & lecture highlights

Keep the four minutes that actually explain it, not the whole hour.

Language learning drills

Replay native-speaker phrases until they roll off the tongue.

Comedy & podcast bits

Cut a greatest-hits reel of your favorite moments and share it.
