The Case for Responsible AI
We all believe in the power of AI. And we all recognize the dangers. This is our chance to come together, to protect our identities and ideas, to put new safeguards in place, and to prepare for a future with AI.
AI and Intellectual Property Theft
Clarkson is asking Google to obtain consent from, give credit to, and compensate authors, visual artists, musicians, and other creators to protect copyrights, encourage creative expression, and promote responsible deployment of this powerful technology. Clarkson is one of the four firms leading the prosecution on behalf of the creatives whose works Google allegedly stole to train its AI products.
AI Washing
Our legal team has filed a class action lawsuit against Apple for false advertising and unfair competition. Ryan Clarkson has been appointed co-lead counsel in the consolidated lawsuit against Apple. If you purchased an Apple product expecting the AI-powered features Apple promised, you may be entitled to compensation.
AI Taskers and Trainers
AI companies use taskers, trainers, annotators, aggregators, prompt engineers, and others to review content and train their Large Language Models (LLM). AI might be a new industry, but the same labor laws apply. Clarkson is representing taskers at Scale AI and Surge AI in class actions alleging these companies have violated California labor laws.
