Who we are
BuildTheEarth is a global community project recreating our entire planet in Minecraft at a 1:1 scale. We are constructing a digital twin of the Earth that showcases the diverse cultures, architecture, and landscapes of our world - standing as a testament to what humanity can achieve together. Join and collaborate with thousands of builders worldwide and help bring our world to life block by block.
What we have done
Our Global Community
BuildTheEarth is powered by dedicated regional Build Teams across the globe, each managing servers for specific countries and areas. Many builders start by recreating their own house, school, or neighborhood before taking on larger landmarks. No prior experience is required - our welcoming community provides tutorials, tools, and mentorship to help you grow from your first building to complex cityscapes.

Explore the Earth
All BuildTheEarth servers are open and free to explore for visitors. Discover iconic landmarks, bustling cities, and rural landscapes recreated in stunning detail. Connect directly to regional team servers, or join our central Hub at buildtheearth.net on Minecraft Java Edition to easily teleport between featured builds and regions.
How you can help
Getting started is simple. Find the Build Team for the region you want to recreate and join their Discord server. Most teams have a quick onboarding process where you build a small trial structure to learn the projection and scaling tools. Experienced builders and staff are always available on Discord to answer questions, provide feedback, and guide you every step of the way.
