Fifteen years ago, I decided to learn to code so that I could build Workflowy. I remember the moment I made that choice, sitting at my friend Emily’s red desk, feeling overwhelmed by my job. I could not handle my workload and felt a powerful need for a tool that let me break big tasks down into small parts, and focus on one at a time. So I sat down, learned jQuery and Python, and made something incredibly rough, but that did what I needed.
All these years later, I feel genuine amazement that you, and so many others, choose this product to help you organize your brain, your work, and your life. Thank you.
In order to help us continue to deliver Workflowy to everyone who relies on it, and hopefully expand the team, we will soon raise the price of Workflowy Pro.
Workflowy has never raised prices in the 12 years since we launched our Pro plan. Our product now costs drastically less than all the major players in our space, most of whom charge more than $10 a month. After this price change, Workflowy will still charge far less than these competing products.
On October 1st, the price of Workflowy Pro will increase to:
- $6.99 per month, if paid annually
- $8.99 per month, if paid monthly
The new prices will take effect when your Workflowy Pro plan renews.
At one point in my life, I found myself in a situation where parting with even a few dollars hurt. I don’t want this price increase to cause financial harm to anyone. If you cannot afford this price increase, please email help@workflowy.com and we will sort something out for you.
