The Octopart API is now part of the Nexar API. The Nexar API, built on GraphQL, will give you access to all of the data available from the Octopart API in addition to design and manufacturing data. Get started with Nexar in three steps
Create an account and organization
Sign up for a free user account on our Nexar Portal, and choose an organization name.
Use your evaluation app
Start using the API via the evaluation app created for you in the Nexar portal. Use the IDE to interactively test your query with the Nexar API.
Choose a Supply Scope Plan
The evaluation allows you to explore and test drive our API, so you can understand the data we offer and run some exploratory queries.

New to the API?
If you are a new API customer interested in accessing our data, you can sign up for the Nexar API below. With the Nexar API, you will have access to all of the supply chain data available from the Octopart API in addition to design data, and manufacturing data in the future.
APIv3 or APIv4 user?
As of June 30, 2022 APIv3 and APIv4 access have been disabled. If you are looking for your APIv3 or APIv4 key, you no longer have access to it. In order to access supply chain data again, you must sign up for the Nexar API. For more information, check out this guide.
