The Problem - all modern OS are turning into server controlled clients while bugs and problems are more than ever. Regular forced updates and unstable software environment. Big corporations do not respect you anymore.

Open source - is turning into big mess of libraries that no developer can ever understand. All sources are centralized and controlled (often by Big Tech). Source storage is on few servers. Without Github it all fails.

The Idea - We need OS that one person can build from source on a sinle computer (PC or laptop). The OS must come with the source and to be rebuildable on the same machine. Separating source and binaries is not wellcome. Source controll and version controll must be avoided as we need some FREEDOM and diversication.
The more versions the better!

The Start - I am starting with OpenBSD as it seems the best choice we have at the moment to achieve the goal. I downloaded all sources and rebuilded the whole thing. Then packed all sources inside the installer image. Then I added few things to make it look more like a desktop OS, their sorcess are also included. I had to write some code (also included).
And here it is OneMan Open BSD image.
