I am a strong believer in dogfooding your own projects, so the day after we release FRVR’s AI games generator, I started making a game every morning while having my morning coffee.
Doing so has resulted in more than 30 bug reports and identifying clear areas of improvement. All of which we have already solved, are working on or have a roadmapped plan for when will be solve.
Some major takeaways from this exercise have been:
The AI has an infinite ability to concentrate. While I could possibly keep up with a few of the LLM’s typing speed, I would be hard pressed to do it consistently every morning. The AI however is happy to code away at games every morning.
I can “write” code on my mobile! I did not realize how amazing this is, my mobile phone is no longer just a consumption device, as I can now ask the AI to write and modify code to how I want it!
A game a day is a lot but totally possible. I am however afraid of running out of ideas but do expect to keep a game a day up for the foreseeable future. If you have a great idea for a game I should attempt, please posts it in the comments below!
