This is an early internal document from 1986 for the original Compaq Deskpro 386/16. The Compaq Deskpro 386/16 was released in September 1986 and was the first commercially available PC with the Intel 80386 Processor beating IBM to the punch.

This document is a printed version of the early design specification.  It is single sided sheets loose bound in a wire cover.  

It is about 1" thick.

This is a very interesting piece of history and window into what was going on within Compaq in the early days as they were working hard to beat IBM to the market with a product with the 80836.

There are two scans of the same original document (with different scanner settings) to best capture the faded parts of this 37 year old document (at scanning time). Some pictures are also taken of the most faded or edge-printed pages.
