Curiosity!!
I am very curious about electronics. Like - LEDs, motors, speakers like placing with wires to battery and it works that make me feel very happy as always falls into trap like breaking electronics items and getting those LEDs, motors, etc.
As far, I don’t know much about simple rules of electronics :). I just keep 2 wires to a battery + - and it glows :) and sometimes it got burn away - haha you know, as well I used to collect those like precious items.
When I Tried??
Before higher secondary education (around 2019), I used to gain info more about electronics that’s how I come about amplifiers :) it is very interesting like small sound signal to making large as part of amplification.
I tried to put the 3mm audio jack to direct speakers which I always thought that is the speakers works. But somehow I was wrong. I used to search about amplifier circuit online which take small signal convert to large ones there are chips as well. I came across transistor amplifiers commonly (CE type) I don’t know those types at that time. I just follow circuit based on online. Somehow, I failed to make that, not getting what I wanted. But eventually tried somehow by collecting more circuit boards from outside and thrown ones and collect the component as mentioned on that and attached via soldering like that it goes.
Figuring out
As far, I continue about that for couple of days. Eventually, I figured out about pinout configurations of transistor which is more matters in building like follows as CBE (collector, base, emitter). I tried reading numbers on the transistor that collected from boards that checked more about it. I come to know that every comp has its own datasheet which follows different pinouts in the transistor based on numbers (ha exhausting part to me). I have keypad mobile type at that time :).
Soon, based on that info - I again tried :) but I never got that. Then there is resistors and capacitor part again those values matters as well in building electronics circuits. So, I tried searched online about it like capacitor values and resistor values based on color codes. I tried to figure out by looking colors from online without much complexity of calculation (I hate that, eventually it needed later). Then, again I tried with the resistors and capacitor values in circuit I followed and boom it works :).
That small sound from 3mm jack to speaker got large sound and work like sweet and I felt like achieved something great.
And the main part comes - that achievement felt troublesome later :( I noticed that transistor got heating up, I thought it is normal part under working of circuit. But, it says nope as I keep work of that circuit played some more songs eventually I soldered pins getting desoldered itself :( due to that I stopped that and removed the battery.
As search continues, what could be the reason for this?? I searched online that heating of transistor - I came to know that it need to placed in metal type like aluminum. Known as heat sink which dissipate heat :).
Finally it works!!
So, I searched in boards to find that heat sink :) and put it on the transistor with screwed and again tried to play the music :) boom it works. it heats normally, and continue to work even after 1 hour :)
I am still worried about that, I haven’t taken any pictures or video recordings about the project at that time :( Glad now I started writing about it.
