What you can do

Shape it your way

Draw and nudge things around, or type exact numbers when you want precision.

Combine shapes cleanly

Cut holes, join pieces, or keep only the overlap—no weird artifacts.

Extrude and revolve

Draw cross sections in an intuitive Drawing Editor or import as SVG, then extrude or revolve into shapes.

Print‑ready exports

Send your model to the printer with OBJ or 3MF

From screen to print

Design in AdaShape, export as OBJ or 3MF, and print - on your machine.

  • Scale accurate and compatible with most slicers (3MF)
  • Edit steps anytime, then re-export
  • Model state synced to disk - no need to save
  • Parametric modeling made easy (work in progress).
  • Runs on any Intel/AMD Windows 11 PC with an SSD. No GPU or workstation required.

Switch mesh resolution anytime — your model adapts instantly. Lower resolution keeps complex models responsive.

About the Team

Our team brings deep professional CAD and graphics experience, with code shipping in products like Tekla Structures and SketchUp. We're building AdaShape to be a fun and robust modeler you'll actually want to open every day.

Come say hi on Discord!

Early Access

AdaShape is in early development, and we'd love your feedback! Join our Discord to share feature requests or report issues.

Our philosophy: if something doesn't work, that's on us, not you. We believe designing printable shapes should be as simple as possible.

Spec sheet

Parametric solver: Recomputes your model from editable steps so changes ripple through the right parts. (change a number, linked parts update)

Immutable project history: Append‑only data store—every change is kept, nothing overwritten. (full timeline saved)

Shape ops: Cut, join, and intersect solids with a kernel designed to avoid messy edges. (industry calls these "booleans")

Formats: OBJ, 3MF today—more later.

Offline and desktop only. You own your models.

Platform: Windows 11 (64‑bit).

Version: Pre‑alpha 0.0.x — public test build.

Branches / parallel versions: Keep multiple variations side‑by‑side within the same project database. (parallel models - NOT EXPOSED VIA GUI YET)

Support: All feedback & error reports via Discord.
