I've been quietly working on 19IN for a while now and it's finally ready to share. It's a community database of 19" studio gear with descriptions, specs, panel images, dimensions, and a rack editor to plan your setup.
We've spent a bit of time manually seeding it with gear that's currently in production, but the real value comes from you as the community: if it's sitting in your rack, it should be in the database.
There are two main things you can do on the site right now:
Browse and contribute to the gear database. Search by manufacturer, unit type, rack spaces or whatever you're looking for. Anyone with a free account can add gear, upload panel images, and fill in specs. Got a pile of vintage outboard? Please add it.
Build virtual racks. The rack editor lets you plan and visualise your setup using real gear from the database. Useful for planning or just sharing what you've got with others.
