Is math related to this? Of course it is. Usually, my family helds celebrations every Sunday because we value Sunday as a family day. As an only girl child of my mom I usually the one who prepare everything in our celebration. I always want to organize small or big celebration in our family because I really want to show them how important they are to me. So, what is the role of mathematics to this and how mathematics helps me to arrange everything. The first thing I going to do is to count my family members so I can list how many plates, utensils for dining that I needed prepared. In that I list how many we are in the family and to help of this I can list how I am going to prepare food that exact needed in the celebration. In the help of simple algebra and mathematical operation in that way I can manage a celebration and the needed portion of foods. Also, I am the one who slice cakes, pizza; slice of bread in that way using fraction helps me how I am going to divide the foods also main dishes. In that helps of that simple mathematics in our lives can help us arranged everything to organize and have a great celebration in a simple way. Math is not only a subject but it is languages that can help us everything surround us. And that is how I organize a celebration for my family a simple as that.

It is used in terms of measuring the model’s or consumer’s body size, measuring the length and width of the fabric, and so much more. It can also be used in terms of creating innovative designs such as including different patterns into the clothing.

My family owns a business in wet market in Balintawak Quezon City. We sell food goods like, kakanin, tokwa, eggs, vegetables, palm oil, our finest bagoong and many more. My Grandmother and my mother manage our store in wet market place when they need to be checking the goods and also how the workers organized the goods and their particular job in our store. Thus, my grandmother teaches me how to handle a business and how I can help with my family business. She thought me how I need to proper managing money in our business. So basically I understand a basic math and it is important that we have a knowledge how we multiply, how we add, subtract and divide that makes us know how we can deal to budget our money to produce products. Also, the use percentages and fractions also help us to minimum the needs to price the product and meet your budget. Simply in a family business like this we must know how to us mathematics because it is the way how we manage business likes my mother says, even they not a college graduate they simple gave us a knowledge how we going to deal in a business. Therefore, in my daily life I always encounter this because I am not a fulltime student but also a helper to my family’s business. In a basic mathematics you can deal with business.

Technology itself won’t exist up to this day without the presence of Mathematics. Given that the technology these days develop and improve each day for us to encounter such discoveries and have a first-hand experience of the new innovations and inventions of society. Mathematics itself has a vital role in creating, inventing, and/or experimenting such discoveries. The use of mathematical formulas, measurements, and the like, are applied in the concept of Technology which basically explains its vitality into the modern tech-world.
Digital Art has been prominent in the present. Instead of using a paper and a pen, artists tend to gravitate towards the use of technology in expressing and presenting their artworks. Not only that it saves paper itself, it is also more convenient in terms of saving finished artworks, posting it online, and is very portable which can used wherever an artist stays or goes. The presence of Mathematics in such field is also important because it uses different softwares, numbers that represent the different shades of color, and methods to finish an artwork. (Ex. Layers)

We all know that managing our time is one of the difficult task that we facing right now especially in our situation we facing today. As a student learner in online class and at the same time as a daughter in my home I need to manage my time so that I can balance and organize my things to do at home. How math is related to this? Simple, we use our logical reasoning to manage our time. Me myself I always set an schedule on my subjects and my schedule in home because I am not fulltime student but also I help my mother to my family business. Logical reasoning is a skill that can help us to how we deal to a particular situation, how we solve a problem, help us to make decision and most importantly help us to set our priorities and to come up new ideas that can help us every day in our lives. Thus, I always set an organize schedule at my organizer book and take down notes the important things to do as a student and as a daughter. We all know that we always deals to a problem how can we manage our time, so the answer to that is to be responsible, don’t waste your time because every second counts. Math is not only helping us to manage to solve or to counts to understand, but importantly we need to value it so we can apply in our daily lives so we cannot procrastinate and mess up everything in what we are doings.

Just consider the importance of math while you’re trying to follow a recipe. As a student and a baker, I’m always trying to think of creative ways to incorporate math into my everyday agenda
Over the weekend I baked chocolate chip cookies, but first i had to use my math skills to figure out the exact recipe. Measuring and Weighting the Ingredients to create a soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies. Baking involves so much more than simply combine ingredients to make it appealing. Baking relies on key scientific principles especially when it comes to using math for a range of functions, from measurement to ratios to conversions.
