After experiencing a difficult time in their lives, husband and wife team Jim and Jennifer Moss decided to build a business around improving people's happiness. Going through the LaunchPad program helped them pivot their business model and connect them to invaluable resources within the startup ecosystem.

Local Line, founded by Laurier Philosophy grad Cole Jones, aims to make a positive impact socially, environmentally, and economically. Their platform connects food suppliers with chefs so that money stays in the community, the distance from farm to table is shorter, and both sides can manage their finances better.
