Evolve - The Game of Insanity
Welcome to your very own city! Evolve is a simulation game where there exists a city with certain rules. Read the following rules carefully before proceeding:
TLDR
This city has people and they pass messages to each other. Depending on the type of message, the listener either gets mad or gets less mad. The overall city has an insanity (madness) average - which you have to keep under some limit and prevent the city from collapsing.
The red/yellow dots you'll see on the screen are the people.
RULES
- When you start the game, the universe starts adding people to the city.
- As soon as a person is added, they go about roaming all over the city area - which is bounded by certain borders.
- While travelling, if a person meets some other person, they stop moving and start taking. Gossip is the favourite passtime here.
- Any other person travelling close enough to these people talking can also join the conversation.
- When people were added to the city, a handful of them were born with a memory - a message passed down by the universe.
- And when these people with memories talk to others, they tend to share the message with them.
- This passing of message goes on as people keep on meeting others.
- Every person has a level of insanity related to them. This shows a measure of how mad/angry/panicked the individual is.
- Averaged on all the people is the city's overall insanity.
- When people talk, and pass a message, depending on the type of message, the listener's insanity either goes up or goes down.
- The universe constantly tries to increase the overall insanity in various ways, it just loves to see the city collapse (saddistic huh).
- Your aim is to prevent the city from collapsing. You have to reduce the city's insanity and keep it under the max limit for 180 seconds.
