Analysts estimate the war against Iran is costing American taxpayers more than $890 million a day, based on known military operations and congressional cost estimates. The spending covers air and naval operations, ground forces, weapons systems and missile interceptions, with the early phase of the conflict proving the most expensive. Experts warn the total cost could rise sharply if the conflict continues or expands to include US ground troops. CNN’s Tom Foreman reports.
