Over the long weekend one of our partners created an Open Source .NET client for the Bug Labs IoT platform.
Steve Montgomery, from Digital Six Labs, recently launched Whisker™, a long range, low power, wireless communication module. The Whisker uses a new technology called LoRa™ (available from Semtech).

Best of all, the Whisker radio uses one of our favorite microprocessors, the RL78 micro-controller from Renesas (You may remember them from this recent press release).
Whisker’s operating firmware takes advantage of the OpenRF™ open source wireless protocol stack, the low power features of the RL78 microcontroller, and a well designed command set to maximize power savings.
We are very excited to be working with Steve and Digital Six Labs. With Steve’s help, we are now able to tap into larger commercial deployments and legacy systems that use .NET.
Please go check out Steve’s .NET Client, which was written in C#.
Thank you!
