Two weeks back we announced the New Wishberg and the direction we are taking. Today we bring to you our first step towards building Wishberg as a mobile product - #Wishberg.
Over last few weeks - we have received multiple requests for Wishberg mobile app (Heads up - we are working on this). For a startup like us, shipping fast does matter - so we decided to build the first mobile version of our product on top of Twitter, can call our MVP.

From today, you can start using Wishberg from your mobile device from anywhere using the #Wishberg through Twitter.

How does this work?
1. Tweet your wish with Text + #Wishberg
I want to see all episodes of Dexter’s Laboratory. #TVShows #Wishberg

2. Tweet your wish with a image + #Wishberg

Existing users who have connected their Wishberg accounts to Twitter can readily start using Wishberg from Mobile.
We are also introducing the quickest way in world to sign-up for Wishberg. If you are not a registered with Wishberg - your first wish with #Wishberg will create your Wishberg account with your profile data and your first wish.
Buy why don’t you use a general # like #wish?
We really wanted to, but there are many users on Twitter who use #Wish who probably don’t know about Wishberg. We do not want to create their accounts without their knowledge, hence #Wishberg needs to be explicitly mentioned in the tweet.
What else is important here that I should know?
There are few things that we think you should be aware of.
- RTs, replies or any conversations with #Wishberg are skipped.
- Images (pic.twitter.com) tagged with #Wishberg will be included as images for respective wish.
- Third Party URLs that are marked with #Wishberg are skipped.
- Only one Twitter account can be connected to your Wishberg profile.
- In case you try to connect your Twitter account with a new Wishberg profile, your old account will be automatically deleted and wishes will be transferred to the new one.
When is Wishberg’s Mobile App coming?
Soon! We are already working on this one. Though its not easy task - we are still reorganizing lot of back end infrastructure and data to ensure a smooth transition to new Wishberg.
But we didn’t want you to wait, so that is why through Twitter. There are other reasons to, the most prominent activity on Wishberg is ‘adding wishes’. This works beautifully through Twitter as well.
Why are we choosing Twitter?
Firstly, we are big fans of Twitter. We love it.
Secondly, when started out to build Wishberg - our aim is to build your personal intent-graph or wish-graph. A sweet place on the Internet that is home to all the things you want to do in this life.
Twitter is now an online identity to everyone online. When our users have a wish to share, we want it to come back to Wishberg - no matter where you have shared or expressed it on the Internet. Its like a Dropbox for your wishes, it syncs on Wishberg. (Yes, we love Dropbox too).
That is all from us for now, I hope you enjoy keep discovering Wishberg. It is the one place where you can share all your wishes.
Life is short, don’t stop wishing. On Wishberg or with #Wishberg.
Love,
Team Wishberg
