2001: Cameras..On Phones?

I don't think it will ever catch on. Why use a poor 1 megapixels photos when my Nikon Coolpix 995 takes 3.3 megapixels and I can just send them via email and messenger from my laptop? who wants to look at photos in a tiny screen? Seem like a gimmic.
