Coaxing quality (writing) output from generative AI

Scala already has a reputation for documentation that's piecemeal and fragmented. This is an ongoing issue that has persisted for years, and was worsened by the drawn-out Scala 2 to 3 transition. Seeing this post, it only reinforces the perception that Scala sees documentation not as a worthwhile investment, but as an inconvenience and a burden. It's especially disappointing that grant money is being spent in this way, rather than incentivising genuine human contribution.
I worry for the future of Scala.
