How to bring down cheap, low-flying drones
economist.comI noticed a small drone hovering outside my bedroom window (suburban home). It quickly disappeared as soon as I started getting out of bed.
The incident still disturbs me.
I've thought about designing a cheap anti-drone defense - consumer grade for myself (and perhaps other geeks). The chances are that it was a once-off perver guy... My costs are too high, and the chance of the problem repeating is too low.
I could close curtains. Possibly I could find some bird-safe netting? The costs don't justify the potential benefits.
I would really love to catch the bastard's expensive drone.
