Air Canada pilot accused of flying over 900 flights without valid license

I actually wonder if we should have some sort of prescription time for those kind, many have gone away with lying on their resume (inventing fake diplomas and so-on) and at some point, the fake-it-til-you-make-it is kinda real and some people master the topic they lie about years later, should we pardon?
