I used to think teeth were the worst-designed part of the body, until I learned that DNA polymerase can make an error during replication and it goes unnoticed, and then a few months later hundreds of thousands of malignant lymphocytes appear throughout the entire body of somebody you love most, and due to their exponential growth they invade every tissue. Now I look at teeth in a completely different way

    Some creationists would say that cancer isn't necessarily proof of poor design but a consequence of inherited sin. If we were still perfect the way Adam was, we would not have cancer.

    Note, I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with the position, just presenting it as I understood it.
