Staggering dip in US tourism is a troubling sign for the future

I'm from Norway, and have been in the US three times. I still had a few more places I'd like to visit, but yeah scrubbed all those plans, not going to happen the next decade at least.

Glad I got to visit, had some really good times. Hopefully the ship doesn't fully sink.

As a Canadian, the choice to not visit a fascist near-dictatorship that is desperately seeking to turn into one is a simple choice.

And the fact that simple tourists - including Canadian ones - have been abducted by ICE and locked up in those concentration camps is plain overkill. We’re likely never returning until right-wing politics no longer exists down there. We have our own evils up here, we don’t need to be faced with America’s sociopaths and malignant narcissists.
