I've never been there, but the photographs make it look a very pleasant place. I've seen much more boring looking areas than that. If they wanted to set up shop in a nice area, I can't blame them for that.

    Los Gatos is really nice. Can’t imagine what the author was expecting.

      Yes, I'm really impressed by the pictures. I haven't been there myself... I was expecting some urban wasteland full of car parks, industrial units, and junk food outlets. Instead, I saw the type of American town/suburb I could live in quite happily, and which looks like it has a lot of trees and some hill scenery. Probably decent cafés and restaurants, and no doubt a small theatre/cinema tucked away somewhere. Every picture I've seen of it makes it look decent.

      I'm sure Los Gatos is boring if you're a teenager, but then again where isn't? As an adult I would prefer to live in a place like that than some human filing cabinet.
