We can’t buy food that hasn’t been approved, can’t build our own house without a smoke detector and can’t remove airbags from our own cars.

Good. We want everyone to be healthier. It benefits everyone to not allow toxic behaviour.

With any luck in a few generations smoking simply won’t exist, and we didn’t have to take the right away from anyone that already had it.

You can't ingest anything unless the state says you can, you can't visit websites unless the state says you can, you can't drive vehicles unless the state says you can, you can't post memes that can be construed as offensive offensive because the state will arrest you, You can't complain about immigration or the state will arrest you.

All in the name of "The public good". The UK is just speedrunning on becoming the USSR/China.

Are you suggesting we do away with driver’s licenses?

Get rid of the food regulation?

Every developed country has those, and it’s a very good thing!

Freedom of speech comes with responsibility, and you can’t talk about killing a certain person without breaking the law today.
