US to issue passports featuring Trump's picture to commemorate America's 250th
cnn.comThe article does not make it clear when this will happen. I have been wanting to get a new passport but I do not want to open it up and see a frowning old man in it. I hope it is special request only.
A friend recently got a parks pass, and was greatly relieved that she'd gotten her request in before his ugly mug was stamped on those, too.
The article said you get Trump only if you get your passport at the DC office. I had the same question.
Glad to hear that. My passport is up for renewal this year, but I'd certainly let it expire and wait til next year if it were going to come back trumpified.
So, absurd as this is, it is probably best for all concerned if he spends the rest of his term doing insane Minor Post-Soviet Dictator Things (notably see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saparmyrat_Nyýazow#Cult_of_per...), vs starting random wars. Let him rename the months Trumpuary, Bighandsuary, and so forth, or put his face on coins, or whatever; it'll keep him out of trouble.
