IMDB recent update: user reviews can't be accessed anymore without an account

It’ll be tough but I guess I’ll continue not using IMDb for anything at all

Slipping further into irrelevance.

This made me think: Is it worse to buy projects and shut them down, or to keep them alive in a terrible state like Goodreads, Imdb, BoxOfficeMojo, etc?
