Bread qualifies as an ultraprocessed food. Perhaps we could pick a better (more useful) way of defining this so people can take reasonable actions. as it stands “ultra possessed” is not useful or actionable.

    Bread is not an ultra-processed food, though it is a processed food.

    Wonderbread, on the other hand, is an ultra-processed food. And classified as cake in some European countries.

    Go to the supermarket, only buy things with one ingredient. Eat those.

    You’re doing pretty good.
