Agentic commerce has an infrastructure problem

I'm going to argue the opposite, agents are transformative because the rest of the system doesn't have to change. From the viewpoint of someone having an agent do business for me I don't want to be stuck doing business with the few stores that have upgraded I do want to be doing business with laggards who my agent can run circles around.
