However, RSS doesn't make money for journalists and reader view just bypasses paid content.

How does this support the works of writers?

In my view they will just turn off RSS (Which is being scraped for free by content violating AI scrapers for free) and go towards more hard paywalls.

I expect more of them to adopt the hard paywall format like The Information.
