TSMC chips are in everything. Remember during COVID when they had a fire on the line and the prices of laptops and cellphones and webcams all doubled? Remember at the end of COVID when car prices skyrocketed because of supply chain issues? The “issues” were shortages of chips made by TSMC.

When China invades as they are scheduled to do in 2027 TSMC plan to scuttle the ASML machines. There will be a global chip crisis the likes of which we have never seen. All electronics and durable goods will go through the stratosphere.

(Didn’t read the article, don’t subscribe to the NYT because they make it impossible to unsubscribe Guessing that’s probably what it says.)
