Product Management is all about people, not technology

This in my opinon comes from either or both teams sidelining the actual users when building feature FOR them. That is why we want to have engineers sometimes jump on customer calls and interviews even if its just to listen.
Indeed! Engineering teams are built of people with different skills. But they all have to deliver value for the customer (and the company).
