Microsoft is closing its employee library and cutting back on subscriptions

Having access to an extremely comprehensive technical library was invaluable for R&D and also one of the powerful invisible privileges available to Microsoft employees for those who wanted to take advantage of it.
I’d like to hear someone from MS if this has any impact, or if the report is overblowing it? Closing a library and pushing something called “Skilling” Hub sounds cartoonishly stupid and disrespectful.
