    The teensy-tiniest of specks of light at the end of the tunnel, the other day TFG spouted something about "we HAVE to win the mid-terms", so any Dem election success in those means adults in charge again and maybe also some prison time for [waves hands around] all of this.

      First comes the accusations of cheating, and dozens to hundreds of court cases trying to overturn the results.

      On the other hand, if the Republicans do win, there are going to be the same from the other side...

      I’m not hopeful the US will vote their way out of this. Wealth equality has made the society susceptible to a fascist authority. And it’s getting worse not better. This is just the beginning. Most of all the last weeks and the upcoming “acquisition “ of Greenland will embolden China and Russia to be more aggressive I imagine.
