Congress has no power, the courts leave it to congress (lol). Every agency has been purged of anyone willing to put up resistance. Checks and balances and the Constitution are essentially meaningless.
To be fair, this is not necessarily new for America. People forget that much of the 1800s was ruled by the spoils system and imperialist, nationalistic presidents. The difference is none of them ruled over the largest standing military in the world or the linchpins of the global economy.

One thing that could possibly stop Trump is if it is not a cake-walk to take Greenland and there are American casualties.
At least in the first Trump term there were sane people in administration to stop Trump. Now it's all yes-men.
