Ghost is my preferred blogging software. But, logging in is a bit of a pain - relying on email magic links.

I wanted lower-friction sign-in, so I built Trivet: a small middleware that does Google OAuth, checks/creates the member in Ghost, then uses the Ghost Admin API to mint a one-time member sign-in URL and redirect you into the site.

Setup is straightforward, and it relies on Google One Tap to avoid the need for theme edits.

I host it for free on my Mac Mini [1], but it's MIT + self-hostable.
