it's another robots.txt-like standard, with no teeth, so I'd expect it would be as effective as robots.txt ever was, which is: "every AI will ignore it"
Renting few residential proxy IPs and faking some user agent is way cheaper than paying any fees.
This is interesting in theory....but will probably help capture markets for those with money.
You can't have a new search or open source AI if you can't afford to pay scraping fee's.
